also, from today's USA Today (Mon 1/16/2006), page 3A: Alexis Stewart, daughter of Martha Stewart, is calling for an end to horse-drawn carriages in New York City!
"Horses simply don't belong on the bustling streets of New York City," Stewart wrote to Mayor Michael Bloomberg in a letter dated last Tuesday. "In light of this tragic yet easily preventable incident, we ... urge you to support a city-wide ban on horse-drawn carriages."
BUT NO MENTION WHATSOEVER OF THE INCIDENT ON 'THE APPRENTICE'!!!!
