Speaking of aviation, I was at the game last night when the high-flying Baltimor Orioles overcame a 8-3 lead to beat the World Champion Boston Red Sox 11-8. One interesting thing was when Javy Lopez, the Orioles catcher had batted in the previous inning and needed to put his gear back on, the pitcher was warmed up by 1st base coach Rick Dempsey.

I heard yesterday that you were out of town and when I was listening to the game over the InterNet I wondered for a moment if maybe you were at the game - not such a good outcome for your Sox, but still that was some ballgame, huh? I credit Ray Miller for this unexpected Orioles success so far; I know it's only April, but this is the first time since 1997 that they've been in first this late in the season. I've been hearing comments from the Baltimore announcers that lead me to believe that Dempsey pitches BP for them, too.

And no, I did not mean to say catching BP... looking at his stats, he pitched in two games for the Brewers in 1991, too.
