Some people have the mistaken impression that this is a breakfast drink, but in actuality the name just refers to its appearance, and the only time that a Tequila Sunrise would not be an appropriate choice of beverage is when you're stuck in rehab with Pat O'Brien.

Two things:
1. I always did think that a Tequila Sunrise was a breakfast drink. When I was about 10, I reluctantly went to a summer day camp. My sisters and I were picked up every morning by some man in what we would now call an SUV. Anyway, he ALWAYS had a huge Tequila Sunrise which he sipped as he drove the 3 of us to camp. I ALWAYS felt depressed by this guy and worried that something bad was happening.
2. I haven't read all of your cocktail antics but have you mentioned the Scootosa?

Oh, I am going to mention the Scootosa, as well as Three-Hole Punch (which I have a nice photo of reader Sarah A. holding a cup of, btw) and 2 refreshing reader Andrea B. recipes. I've just been saving them for the end, so if there are any more reader-created cocktails out there send them in by tomorrow!
