Opening up for Don Rickles was the incomparable Gene Ferrari, The Voice With A Heart. Yeah, I'd never heard of him before, either, but he filled the role of warm-up singer admirably, knew that people were really there to see Rickles and didn't overstay his welcome, and to be completely honest I was almost a little bit moved when he sang One Moment In Time from the 1988 Olympics soundtrack.
