Every time I think I've put this squirrel mystery to rest, another report comes in to blow the whole thing wide open again. Today I returned from my illness to a note from blogging colleague / reader Dirty Jase letting me know about the hundreds of dead squirrels that have been washing up on Michigan beaches in recent weeks.
